Leisure Waters Update: 19th & 20th September

The Bucket Tip Multi-Play Area will be unavailable on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September while improvement works take place on our Sidewinder Slide. Our Wave Pool, Pirate Ship, Flumes and Race Slides will remain open as normal, and Leisure Waters tickets will be reduced to the price of a standard swim session throughout the weekend. Thank you for your understanding while we make these improvements.

Carers Policy

As part of our mission to support the health and wellbeing of everyone in our community, we are pleased to give Carers free access to Bangor Aurora Aquatic & Leisure Complex to support children or adults with disabilities take part in activities at our centre and other centres in the Northern Community Leisure Trust contract including any gym, swimming, fitness classes and sports hall activities.

Carers must provide evidence they are an official Carer for example from a local authority letter or Carer Card provided by the local authority. Carers include Young Carers who are aged between 9 and 17. Please note all under 8's must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 16 or over, including Carers under the age of 8 in line with our Admissions Policy. A maximum of two Carers are allowed free access to the centre per each individual with a disability attending the centre.

We also follow the Buddycard scheme that is in place with Ards and North Down Borough Council. All holders of a Buddycard allows free access for Carers to our leisure facilities. The Buddycard scheme is available for any child or adult with a disability and required assistance to take part in activities.
