Timetable Changes at Sheppey Leisure Complex Swimming Pool

We have responded to feedback from various parts of the community and have made some changes to the previously advertised pool programme. We would like to recognise that any decisions made to a public facility such as ours will inevitably impact one or more segments of the community, while it should be noted that there is continuous focus upon providing a diverse and fun offering that responds to the greatest user demand.

To this end, we have amended the previously proposed changes to create a ‘Swim-for-All’ between the hours of 16:00 to 18:00 to accommodate the feedback and what we hope will be a popular after school activity for children and families, while other parts of the pool are utilised for swimming lessons during this time.

In response to the need for more Lane Swimming sessions, we are pleased to report that these have been added to the programme on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between the times of 18:00 to 19:00 and 18:00 until 19:30 on Thursday and Friday.

These Changes will take effect from Monday 2nd October 2023.

Swim Only members are reminded that usage of both Swallows Leisure Centre and Sheppey Leisure Complex is permitted within your membership, creating additional swimming options for you to utilise. You can look at all of our membership options HERE.

Against the backdrop of raising operating costs, we will continue to review demand to ensure optimum opening times and programming requirements that match the community usage
